LG is keen to point out that the Viewty is ‘the complete camera phone’. And to be fair, it’s hard to argue with that. Packing a massive 5-megapixels to rival the N95 and Samsung G600 and a stack of features you’re more likely to find on your common or garden point and shoot, it’s more like a phone camera than a camera phone. There’s a 16x digital zoom, video recording at a mind-blowing 120 frames per second and playback at a DVD quality 30 fps. There has been progress with the Viewty on all fronts. It is a tri-band GSM phone with EDGE and GPRS as well as 3G with HSDPA up to 3.6Mbps where the Prada lacked the 3G element. A front facing camera caters for video calling and can be used to shoot stills containing yourself. Also the build quality feels better and the main camera shoots five megapixels.Features :# 5 megapixel camera with Schneider-Kreuznach lens, autofocus and SmartLight# Video recording (MPEG4, 320 x 240 pixels, 120 frames/second)# 3G video calling (VGA camera, 30 frames/second)# Touch sensitive screen: TFT LCD, 262k colours, 240 x 400 pixels (3 inches)# Music player (MP3/AAC/AAC+/AAC++/WMA formats)# FM radio# Speakerphone# Voice recording# Messaging: SMS, MMS, Email# T9 predictive text# Document viewer (TXT, PDF, DOC, PPT, XLS)# Ringtones: 72 voice polyphonic ringtones / MP3 ringtones# Wallpaper# Java 2.0 games# Internet: WAP 2.0, GPRS Class 12, EDGE, 3G HSDPA (3.6 Mb/s)# Google Package# Connectivity: USB 2.0, Bluetooth 1.2# Memory: 90 Mbytes plus 2 Gbyte microSD memory card# Vibration alert# Quadband (GSM 900/1800/1900/2100) plus 3G# Size: 104 x 54 x 15 mm# Weight: 112g# Talktime: 3.8 - 5.9 hours# Battery standby: 430 - 450 hours
