BoyGeniusReport has received an insider view of the new Blackberry Bold 9800 Slider. It is indeed the first time its been captured on video. It’s a pretty brief video so what can’t really tell much from it, but a quick look at its rear design confirms that this will be the newest member of the BlackBerry Bold family. According to BG and as seen in the video, the device is running BlackBerry 6 (OS 6.0), is part of the Bold family and (so far) has 9800 as its model number.
The device is definitely going to be an interesting smartphone to play it since it combines some very important features of the modern smartphone: a large touchscreen display and a full QWERTY keyboard. The back also reveals one more important detail, which is the Bold branding. Although there’s no way of confirming this device yetThis video also puts to rest any uncertainty that may have been left out there of what product family the new slider might fall into.
