by Tmyphone: There you go, you wanted Acer to make Android phones and the Acer Liquid A1 is here. And what a smartphone it is! The Liquid A1 has been just announced and it’s going to be the first Android handset to offer you a Qualcomm 1GHz Snapdragon processor. You know, the same processor found in two fine phones, the TG01 from Toshiba and the HD2 from HTC.
The Liquid will offer you a WVGA touchscreen display, a 5-megapixel camera, HSPA connectivity, social networking integration and Android 1.6 Donut in the background. One special feature is the Spinlets application, an app that will offer let you stream music and video whenever you want, as long as you have a dependable broadband or 3G connection available.
Although it has been officially unveiled, pricing and release dates are still unknown!.
